During Ginger Lamar's Saturday Night Show
at The Ledo Cabaret & Lounge on February 12th 2000,

    Ginger Lamar's shows at The Ledo were always very special to us. It was our favorite spot to see our idol, Ginger Lamar, as well as spend time with employees such as Cortez & Tom. We spent many Saturday nights sitting with J.L. at our front table, which Cortez always reserved for us, drinking Martian Martinis & taking pictures of Ginger.

It was, of course, there that Matthew proposed to Jason and it was also memorable to us for another reason- it was where we said "I LOVE YOU" for the first time. It was a moment we'll never forget. Veronica Bond was performing "Papermoon" and everything seemed perfect.

The Ledo shows also became Matthew's favorite place to perform when he began his career as a country vocalist. We would always be excited when Ginger would phone to ask Matthew to do a show. The Ledo always had a great audience that really came out just to see the show.

Ginger's shows at the Ledo were some of the best that Oklahoma City has ever seen. And we both miss them dearly. We hope those of you lucky enough to see one will always remember.
